I watch a lot of political talk shows

I learn a lot by watching political talk shows - one of the things I learned is politicians sure like to talk about the problems of America but really offer no solutions - they talk about the same gigs all the time about how America is losing jobs and how America needs to create more jobs.

Mind you these are the same elected officials that are in office and have been in office for some of them decades - while they talk to gain public support they for some reason don't talk about some things and those are the things I am in part going to bring up on this blog.

They don't talk about NAFTA - a source of loss of jobs - They don't talk about Corporations sending jobs over sea's and how they voted to be responsible for that problem.

They don't talk about how government is in many cases dysfunctional in its operations - they never talk about the enormous cost of the 3rd branch of government in the judiciary - they never talk of the waste in not only money but in human lives being warehoused in prisons and jails - considering 10% of the American population is in prison - that is about 3 million people - the most in the world. 

They talk about the problems they themselves created to show us how much we need them to point those things out - well I have not been impressed but disgusted that they seem to get all this attention for talk shows and they are even proud of themselves in enlightening us about the problems they created - I call that extreme arrogance and vanity of self and how wonderful they are ... not.

yeah, that is what I have learned - that they are arrogant and self righteous of the very same issues and problems they created and then they brag about it by telling us about it.


Then they turn around and tell us how great other nations are like China and Great Brittan and North Korea and how America lacks behind and is falling from the grace of world opinion.


I am sitting here in my living room worried about world opinion ... not.


The only world I know is the little town I live in and the surrounding area - that sure is a big word for them to us since they obviously can not  see the vanity behind their own noses - let alone tell me about world opinion philosophies.


My impression is that a lot of these elected officials are not very bright and are actually dumb. Talking politics doesn't solve problems - taking action does.
