I watch a lot of political talk shows

I learn a lot by watching political talk shows - one of the things I learned is politicians sure like to talk about the problems of America but really offer no solutions - they talk about the same gigs all the time about how America is losing jobs and how America needs to create more jobs.

Mind you these are the same elected officials that are in office and have been in office for some of them decades - while they talk to gain public support they for some reason don't talk about some things and those are the things I am in part going to bring up on this blog.

They don't talk about NAFTA - a source of loss of jobs - They don't talk about Corporations sending jobs over sea's and how they voted to be responsible for that problem.

They don't talk about how government is in many cases dysfunctional in its operations - they never talk about the enormous cost of the 3rd branch of government in the judiciary - they never talk of the waste in not only money but in human lives being warehoused in prisons and jails - considering 10% of the American population is in prison - that is about 3 million people - the most in the world. 

They talk about the problems they themselves created to show us how much we need them to point those things out - well I have not been impressed but disgusted that they seem to get all this attention for talk shows and they are even proud of themselves in enlightening us about the problems they created - I call that extreme arrogance and vanity of self and how wonderful they are ... not.

yeah, that is what I have learned - that they are arrogant and self righteous of the very same issues and problems they created and then they brag about it by telling us about it.


Then they turn around and tell us how great other nations are like China and Great Brittan and North Korea and how America lacks behind and is falling from the grace of world opinion.


I am sitting here in my living room worried about world opinion ... not.


The only world I know is the little town I live in and the surrounding area - that sure is a big word for them to us since they obviously can not  see the vanity behind their own noses - let alone tell me about world opinion philosophies.


My impression is that a lot of these elected officials are not very bright and are actually dumb. Talking politics doesn't solve problems - taking action does.

That is one interpretation of Aberration".

Note - When Rodney King was beat by a gang of Los Angeles rogue cops - or as I would like to say was being tortured - LAPD - Chief Daryl Gates at the time said the incident was an "Aberration" ?

Arne Duncan is the U.S. Secretary of Education appointed by the Obama administration - when asked about the $188 billion going to feed the greed of higher education and fraud schemes - Duncan stated it was likely an aberration that fraud existed. Aberration is one of those political words of self denial of his failure and shows how dysfunctional an over paid geek can be - Obama screwed up on this clown.

 

"Aberration" is a political buzz word and a trick word used by political demagogues in the art of demagoguery and that is another word I will address later - 

At the time LAPD Chief Daryl Gates - was not only in denial of what happened but defended it - Justice gone wrong.

Arne Duncan is not only in denial of billions being sucked by higher education from the government  in fraud schemes but defended it by referring to the matter as an aberration even when confronted with evidence to show other wise.- that is the power of politics by those who get paid royalties to promote and support the statue quo of what is wrong with America.

Note - being familiar with conjunctures - the headline should have read more properly as billions in schemes are being milked by higher education corporations in fraud and pyramid type schemes for profit not the student.

Military

We are word junkies

Lets face it - we are all word junkies - we just do not realize it till I now bring it up. Lets look at the proto types. The Court System has its own vocabulary in speech and in the printed word - in fact lawyers have to go to special schools to learn the language itself. The Medical field has its own language and so on and so forth.

Gangsta's have their own language  and so everyone is a word junkie of some type.

Every word has its own history and learning that history has been one of my pet projects out of curiousity. My blogs will focus on spacific words of meaning to me and what they are to the reader is unknown.

A Dictionary is a book that is suppose to help us define words and some of the meanings and not all dictionaries give the same definitions and they vary from one to another - old dictionaries are actually a good source of data and information - new dictionaries are not all the same.

What was gay in the 50's as happy is now a person who is a homosexual.

What was battle shock syndrom in the 30's is now post traumatic stress sydrom that has many applications in everyday life besides the battle field. Many words are inter related to each other like stess is related to post traumatic and post to what has been experienced and truama as a hard ship in body and mind.

Words and their meanings is almost a science related to math as numbers are added and subtracted and devided so it is with words as I just indicated.

Part of that science is called conjucture and the applications of semantics and the formation of paradigms. Don't worry I had to look up those words and study them myself.
